American Heritage Girls

Changing Girls' Lives and Leading Them Towards a More Christ-Centered Life

Wednesdays | 4:30 - 6:00 pm | Parish Hall

American Heritage Girls, or AHG, was founded in 1995 by a group of parents who wanted a faith-based, scout-type character development program for their daughters.  We are dedicated to the mission of forming women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. Girls in AHG Troop VA0614 participate in badge programs, service projects, leadership opportunities, and outdoor experiences, all with an emphasis on Christian values and family involvement. Embracing our motto - faith, service, fun - we help with the parish food pantry, sell and lay wreaths for Wreaths Across America, make pancakes for meatless meals, pack boxes for Box of Joy, camp, bake, lead, pray and much more! AHG is open to all girls ages 5-18.

If you have a daughter interested in joining AHG, or if you have something you could teach/share with our girls, please contact Jen Coleman, Troop Coordinator, online here. All adult volunteers must be or become compliant with the Diocese of Arlington Child Protection Policy, to include a background check and Virtus seminar.
