Seven Women, One Hour, One Priest, One Day
The Seven Sisters Apostolate strengthens the Church by ensuring a Holy Hour is prayed each day of the week for the sole intention of a particular priest in order that he might be conformed more deeply to Christ.
Each Seven Sisters group consists of seven women who commit to praying one Eucharistic Holy Hour on a particular day each week for one year, beginning on the Feast of the Sacred Heart, for the needs and intentions of their designated priest. To learn more, visit sevensistersapostolate.org.
Sacred Heart currently has two Seven Sisters Apostolate groups for our Pastor and Parochial Vicar. We are in need of additional women to serve as substitutes. For information about joining the Seven Sisters Apostolate at Sacred Heart, please contact Nicole Filipowski, Director of Faith Formation, online here or at 703-590-0256.
"In strengthening the priest you strengthen the whole Church... Strengthen the priest and you strengthen the whole foundation, you strengthen everything in the Church." - Fr. Gerald Fitzgerald, S.P.
